I’ve even done karate and jujitsu with this holster on with no troubles whatsoever. A lot of Urban Carry Holsters issues come from improper usage, improper sizing, and a lack of practice. Just remember, at least with a G2, the 43X works best with the holster that is recommended for the 19. It is so comfortable, and fits all of my clothes, and takes the shirt entirely out of the equation. But I would be willing to bet that no one else here can say they’ve used the same holster every day for over the last 2 1/2 years (and never needed to use another ) and never had to take it off except when the pants came off. I am kind of the odd guy out as I use an urban carry G2. If I practice with one, I practice with them all. That way, it matters not which Glock I grab in point and shoot, as they all work the same. Harder to do that with some other systems.Īnother reason I chose this system as I have tried to standardize all of my weapons as far as site picture, laser location activation. And with the 43X you can also teach yourself to be stealth if you wish and grip with the bottom fingers in order to cite the target without activating the laser, then tighten the grip and reveal your position right before you shoot. Always be ready to use the iron sites first actually.Īnother reason I use the laser Gard Crimson Trace is I do a ton of dry fire practice with it and it comes in really handy for that. Outside, in the daylight, it’s just better to use the iron sights in my opinion. What I mean is, if the dot is not on the target, it may be 150 feet behind you on some truck parked in the parking lot. It is true that the green is easier to see in the day, but they’re quite a bit more expensive, don’t last nearly as long with the battery, and honestly when you’re outdoors it’s very easy to lose the dot anyway. I am a Crimson trace laser guard user who is very satisfied. Smart of you to make sure that your entire system matches.
